The Van Ness Improvement Project is a major civic improvement project that will renovate the avenue from sidewalk to sidewalk, 15 feet below the ground to 30 feet above the ground. The construction has been planned to maintain as much on-street parking as possible and to minimize the impacts on neighbors. This animation gives an overview of the work being done on Van Ness over the next three years.
